Xi’s dictatorship in China now!

Beijing. The one week long party congress of the Communist Party of China (CCP) has ended. The meeting ended with heavy drama and a resolution to establish President Xi Jinping’s dictatorship. On Sunday, members of the Politburo will be elected, in which Jinping’s name will be proposed for a third term. Former President Hu Jintao was forcibly evicted from the meeting in the Great Hall of the People on Saturday, the last day of the CCP meeting. President Jinping has also removed his Prime Minister Li Keqiang from the party’s Central Committee. Along with him, three more senior officials have been removed.

It is being told that all the leaders who questioned or opposed Xi Jinping’s policies within the party have been removed.

Former President Jintao was thrown out of the meeting due to differences on policies. In a video released by news agency Reuters, Hu Jintao, sitting next to Xi Jinping, was picked up from a chair by two security personnel and escorted out of the meeting hall. Keep in mind that Jintao is a big leader of the CCP and before Xi Jinping became President in 2013, he was President of China for 10 years from March 2003 to March 2013. According to the constitution, he had to step down after completing two terms.

Xi Jinping got this proposal of the constitution changed in a meeting only last year. This change was approved in the party Congress of the CCP. Through this amendment, the way has been cleared for Xi Jinping to remain the President. Apart from this, he has also made a central committee of his own free will. In the party congress that lasted for a week, party members voted for the new Central Committee. 205 members were elected in it. This committee will now elect the members of the Politburo. After the meeting of the CCP, there will be a meeting of the Central Committee, in which 25 members of the Politburo and seven members of the Standing Committee will be elected. They will be announced on Sunday.

Earlier, with the end of the meeting, another news agency ‘AP’ reported that Xi Jinping has also removed Chinese Premier Li Keqiang from the Central Committee. Three more top office bearers have been removed along with him. Now these four leaders will not be able to become members of the Politburo. Before Jinping became president in 2013, all leaders had two terms of five years or had to retire at the age of 68. The exception was Mao Zedong before him, who had been president for three decades. It was only after him that this two-term rule was made, which has been changed by Xi.
