The court has issued an arrest warrant against a minister in the central Modi government. This warrant has been issued against the minister in a case of theft. The name of the minister against whom theft is alleged is Nishit Pramanik. He is the Union Minister of State for Home Affairs in the Modi government. The issuance of warrant against the Union Minister has created a political uproar.

The matter is of the year 2009. It is being told that there was theft in two jewelery shops in Alipurduar district. The police had made Union Minister Nishit Pramanik an accused in this case. The case was heard in the Alipurdwara court on 11 November. In which no lawyer of the Union Minister was present. After which the judge issued an arrest warrant against Nishit Pramanik.

Let us tell you that Nishit Pramanik had joined BJP in the year 2019. The party gave him the Lok Sabha ticket from Coochbehar. Nishit won his first election and became a minister in the central government.
