In China, the media is officially controlled by the Communist Party. In such a situation, whatever opinion emerges there, it may not be called independent opinion. Despite this, the opinion of public opinion matters – because it determines the stability and strength of power. So now the results of a survey conducted in China are important. This means that the path the Communist government is following under the leadership of Xi Jinping has got wide support within the country. It came to the fore that the two countries against which the people of China have the most negative feelings are America and India. On the other hand, his feelings towards Russia have become increasingly positive.
Russia and Pakistan are his two favorite countries. The survey was conducted by the Czech Republic-based think tank Central European Institute of Asian Studies. In this sample survey, the opinion of more than 3000 people of China was known. This showed that the majority of the Chinese public supports Russia’s attack on Ukraine. During the survey, Chinese public opinion was asked about 25 countries. During this it came out that Russia is his favorite country at the moment. Whereas he has the most resentment towards America. Less than a third had a positive opinion of America. Many Chinese said that there is a fraternal affinity between Russia and China.
