How did India become the world-centre of medicine?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a new campaign from Jamnagar in Gujarat to make traditional medicine world class. He has said that all traditional medicine like Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy will contribute in this AYUSH campaign of India. Some new steps will also be taken to make these medical systems worldwide, which will be named – AYUSH Visa. My suggestion here is why not halve the fee for this AYUSH-visa from the normal visa fee? Millions of citizens of neighboring countries are fond of this traditional medicine.

This therapy is much cheaper than allopathy. The Government of India should make arrangements for this, so that the people of the middle and poor class of neighboring countries can also take advantage of this. The people of neighboring countries who get successful treatment in India, they and their family members become bhakts of India forever. I am saying this on the basis of my experience. The Prime Minister has also said that the government will also issue an ‘AYUSH symbol’ on our medicines, which will guarantee their authenticity.

The practice of traditional medicines of India is popular in all the neighboring countries. Even in China, I have seen such Indian medicines, whose names have been kept by Chinese physicians till now in the original Sanskrit. Our business of AYUSH medicines has grown from 3 billion to 18 billion dollars in the last 7 years. The contribution of Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna in this field is incomparable and incomparable.

If such traditional medicine centers are opened in every district of India like Kerala, then India’s income can reach trillions of dollars. India can become the largest center of the world in terms of medical tourism. Millions of new jobs can be created in India. India can open such AYUSH centers in all the neighboring countries.

Seven years are passing, but if the government is determined to complete the work which is still unfinished, then India will start ringing in the whole world. I have addressed my first and second health minister Shri J.P. Nadda and Dr. Harshvardhan to prepare a new course of medicine by combining all the pathologies including allopathy and medical education should be done through Indian languages.

If this were to happen, then a new history would be created in medical science and India’s flag would be hoisted in the world. At this time the whole world is troubled by the horrific looting in the name of medicine. If India can develop a holistic system of medicine, then the poor people of the world will benefit the most from it.
