Fear of Jahangirpuri Violence! Appeal of Jama Masjid – Children should not come for Friday prayers, the area became a cantonment

In such a situation, in view of the delicacy of the atmosphere, an appeal has been made by Jama Masjid that in view of the situation, children should not be brought from the mosque for Friday prayers. Police in Delhi is on alert mode regarding Friday prayers. With this, the security arrangements have been further increased in Jahangirpuri before the visit of leaders of many political parties. Violence broke out after stone-pelting on a procession taken out during Hanuman’s birth anniversary in Jahangirpuri.

Apart from this, the entire area has been converted into a cantonment. The police is also going to set up a temporary surveillance station in the area.

Baldozer also wreaked havoc on encroachments in the area
Jahangirpuri Violence! Tension was already prevailing in violence-hit Jahangirpuri and meanwhile, on Wednesday, a bulldozer was also launched on illegal constructions and encroachments in the area. After which the atmosphere has become even more heated. However, after the order of the Supreme Court, the action of NDMC is stalled for now.
