The last day of the week saw a strong opening in the stock market. On May 27, the Sensitive Index of the stock market opened with a gain of 442 points at 54694. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange also opened with a gain of 138 points at 16308. About 1409 shares were trading on the green mark in the market, while 336 shares were on the red mark. There was no change in 66 shares.
At present, at 9.30 am, the stock market is trading at 54,721 with a gain of about 468 points. Talking about 30 stocks of Sensex, except Nestle, PowerGrid, NTPC and Asian Paints, all 26 stocks are trading on the green mark. The biggest gainer in the market is AstraZeneca’s stock, which has gained about 8 percent.
