Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited Ukraine to meet Zelensky

Kyiv. British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak visited war-torn Ukraine before completing a month in office. He reached Ukraine’s capital Kyiv on Saturday and met President Volodymyr Zelensky. Zelensky himself gave this information by posting on social media. Even before this, the process of leaders of European countries going to Ukraine and supporting it in the war was going on.

In this episode, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has now visited Kyiv. His visit has happened 24 days after assuming the post of PM. Ukrainian President Zelensky said British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak made his first visit to Kyiv on Saturday after taking office. Zelensky said in a Facebook post – Ukraine and Britain have been the strongest allies since the first days of the war. He said on Saturday- During today’s meeting we discussed the most important issues for both our countries and global security.

Significantly, Sunak has already been criticizing Russia for the attack on Ukraine. He also criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin in the recently concluded G-20 summit. Rishi Sunak lashed out at Russia for the attack on Ukraine. When Rishi Sunak was speaking all this, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was sitting right in front of him. He said that Putin has done the work of weakening the world order. Putin is using food and energy as a weapon, due to which economic problems are being seen all over the world.
