Odisha Government School News : The District Education Officer of Dhenkanal had on Saturday directed the block education officers and headmasters not to allow unauthorized entry of journalists into schools and classrooms. Along with this, complain about such cases to the police. Similar guidelines were also issued to the block education officers and headmasters of Kendrapara district. According to official sources, the state government has taken this step after some news channels aired reports about children studying in these districts being weak in mathematics. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Aparajita Sarangi said that she is surprised about this guideline. Sarangi is known for his work as the School and Mass Education Secretary of Odisha. He said that it is unfortunate and the decision concerned should be withdrawn immediately.
