Petrol, diesel prices increased for the 11th time

new Delhi, Petrol and diesel prices continue to rise. On Sunday, the price of both the fuels was increased for the 11th time in the last 13 days. Petrol and diesel prices increased by 80-80 paise in the capital Delhi on Sunday. After this increase, one liter of petrol has reached Rs 103.41 and diesel at Rs 94.67 per liter. Petrol and diesel have become costlier by Rs 8 per liter in Delhi in the last 13 days since March 22.

Petrol in the capital Delhi was getting Rs 95.45 per liter on March 21, before the price hike started from March 22 after the election results of five states. But since then till now i.e. in 13 days, petrol has become costlier by seven rupees 96 paise to 103.41 rupees. Diesel is also getting costlier by Rs 7 96 paise and is being sold at Rs 94.67 per liter. The price of petrol in Maharashtra is Rs 117 per liter and in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan its price has increased to Rs 120 per liter.

Due to the price of crude oil above one hundred dollars per barrel in the international market, state-owned petroleum companies are continuously increasing the retail prices. Keep in mind that due to the assembly elections of five states including Uttar Pradesh, the price hike was stopped from November 4, 2021. After that the prices remained stable for 137 days. The results of five states were declared on March 10 and the prices started rising 12 days after that. It is believed that the prices will increase further.
