Oppo’s Tiger Log with New Year Edition smartphone pre-booking from December 27

Oppo Reno7 Launch date: Chinese smartphone maker Oppo recently introduced its Reno7 smartphones. This series has now got a special edition which has been named Oppo Reno7 New Year Edition. The new edition is expected to come in Red Velvet color and as per the Chinese zodiac, 2022 is the year of the Tiger, so there will be a Tiger logo next to the brand name.

The Reno 7 New Year Edition will be available for pre-order in China from December 27 through Oppo’s official website, but there is no confirmation of its launch in the international market. It is possible that Oppo may present Oppo Reno 7 in red color and without Tiger logo in the international market.

There is no new upgrade from the regular Reno 7 except the red color and the Tiger logo. It comes with all the Reno 7 specifications which are in the previous variant which includes. Snapdragon 778 processor has been given in it. It has a 6.43-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display. It runs on the company’s ColorOS 12 based on Android 11.

Triple-camera setup will be available in the rear of this new edition. In which there will be 64MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro unit. For selfies and video calls, it will have a punch hole 32MP front camera lens. It is expected to pack a 4500mAh battery that will support 60W fast charging. Apart from this, it will also have an in-display fingerprint scanner. The price of 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory variant of this phone will be 2699 yuan (about Rs 32000), while the 12GB RAM and 256GB internal memory variant will cost 3299 (about Rs 40000).
