NIA raid, 4 PFI leaders in custody

Bhopal. In the order of raids conducted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on the locations of People’s Front of India across the country, action has also been taken in Indore and Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh. Four PFI leaders have been detained from both the places. Literature and documents have also been recovered from them. According to information received from sources, NIA raided three places in Indore and Ujjain. The NIA along with the ED and the local police raided three places in Indore and arrested three people.

One person has also been detained in Ujjain. State Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra has also confirmed the action taken by the NIA in Indore and Ujjain, but refused to divulge more details. Sources say that the NIA in its raid has also recovered the accounts of terror funding and some literature from the accused. At the same time, when the NIA was taking action in Indore, during the same time, the police especially patrolled in many areas. Overall, the entire police was deployed to help the NIA. (IANS)
