Silver also rose by Rs 1,023 to Rs 62,636 per kg. Silver had closed at Rs 61,342 per kg in the previous trading session.
gold shining in international market
In the international market, gold rose to USD 1,859 an ounce, while silver was marginally higher at USD 22.22 an ounce. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold prices rose nearly half a per cent to $1,859 an ounce on the New York-based commodity exchange COMEX on Friday, which led to the rise in gold prices.” ‘
