ED raids Delhi liquor case

New Delhi, After the CBI in the case of the liquor policy of the national capital Delhi, now the ED has taken a big action. On Friday, the ED conducted raids in many cities of the country. ED raided 40 places. Apart from this, the ED also questioned Delhi government minister Satyendar Jain, who is lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, in this case. However, Satyendra Jain is in jail after being arrested in the hawala case.

However, out of the 40 locations raided by the Delhi government, 20 are in Hyderabad. Raids have also taken place at some places in Punjab. Earlier this month, the ED had conducted raids in seven different cities including Mumbai. These raids took place at the houses of some liquor traders and former excise officials. These raids were carried out on those people whose names were registered in the CBI FIR.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia targeted the central government after the ED raids, saying – first they did the CBI raids, nothing was found in this. Now ED will raid, nothing will come out of it. He said- Work is being done to stop the work that Arvind Kejriwal ji is doing in the country, but he will not be able to stop it. Use this CBI, use this ED.

Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate, ED on Friday questioned Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Satyendar Jain in Tihar Jail in connection with a money laundering case related to alleged irregularities in excise policy. Official sources gave this information. It is worth noting that this excise policy has been withdrawn. On August 19, the CBI raided several people including Sisodia after the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi had recommended a CBI inquiry.
