Biden warns Xi Jinping

Bali. At the G-20 summit in Bali, Indonesia, US President Joe Biden warned Xi Jinping on the issue of Taiwan. Biden said that China’s aggressive action on Taiwan has put peace at risk. Apart from this, Biden told the Chinese President that the two countries should work together on climate change, economic stability, health and food security. On the sidelines of the G-20 summit, bilateral talks were held between the two world leaders, which are considered very important.

Biden also raised the issue of human rights in Xinjiang, Tibet and Hong Kong in this dialogue. Also said that China should maintain the status quo on Taiwan. Don’t try to make a one sided change. President Biden also raised the issue of American citizens imprisoned in China as well as discussed the issue of Russia’s nuclear threat. It has been told that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken will travel to China to take this conversation forward.

In a conversation with President Xi Jinping, Biden said – we will compete loudly, but he will definitely take care that it does not turn into controversy. The two leaders also discussed the war between Russia and Ukraine. Chinese President Xi Jinping said that conflict and war do not produce any winners. He also said that there is no simple solution to a complex issue.

The President of China said on the war between Russia and Ukraine – Conflict between major countries should be avoided. China has always been a supporter of peace and will continue to encourage peace talks. He said- We support the resumption of peace talks between Russia and Ukraine. At the same time, we hope that the United States, NATO and the European Union will engage in comprehensive dialogue with Russia.
