Approval of legal action against Imran Khan

Islamabad. The Shahbaz Sharif cabinet in Pakistan formally decided on Friday to initiate legal action against former Prime Minister Imran Khan over his audio leak.

According to the news, in the recently leaked audio, three leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) can be heard talking about the American cipher with party President Imran Khan. According to this, in this leaked audio, Khan was also talking about the alleged conspiracy to topple his government. Taking cognizance of this audio leak, the cabinet constituted a committee on 30 September.

The committee recommended legal action regarding this audio leak. The cabinet committee has recommended that it is a matter of national security which has serious implications for national interest and legal action is necessary in this regard, Geo News reported. The Federal Investigation Agency will be tasked with investigating US cyber and audio leaks.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Saturday expressed her dissatisfaction with the government led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and said the government failed to arrest Khan despite so many allegations. Is. They demanded a raid on Khan’s Bani Gala residence.

Finance Minister Isaac Dar said Khan is power hungry and wants to rule the country at any cost.
