New Delhi. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) Vice Chancellor Professor Nageswara Rao has been conferred with the Ambassador of Resilience Award. Professor Rao has been conferred with this award by Spark of Lights Education, an innovative and emerging company. Its director and co-founder Sangeeta Vashistha and founder Aditya Vashistha presented the award to Professor Rao.
Professor Rao, a senior educationist, represents the collective aspirations of modern day youth who are availing world class educational facilities under the aegis of IGNOU Jan Vishwavidyalaya. Professor Rao is also a symbol of the Himalayan heights of educational technology. Before taking over as the Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU, Professor Rao was the Vice-Chancellor of Uttarakhand Open University (UOU), Haldwani. Twelve eminent persons including Vice Chancellor of Royal Global Academy Guwahati Prof. S.P. Singh and MLA Vinay Mishra have been conferred with this award.
