“A Holy Conspiracy” shows a science teacher arrested and prosecuted for not mentioning the role of religion in teaching science in a small-town school. Naseeruddin Shah and Soumitra Chatterjee play lawyers in the story, woven around the ongoing court case. The film centers around the debate as to what is more important – religion or science? That is, the film is also a test that questions the importance and necessity of science versus religion.
