The concert series, which began on July 25, was to run for a total of 12 shows till August 5. This was the beginning of a canto-pop singing sensation at the Coliseum. The concert was immediately stopped and the audience was asked to leave the venue.

The Hong Kong government has postponed further concerts at the venue until its stage design and mechanical structures are proven safe.
