Ranbir becomes father, Alia Bhatt gives birth to daughter

Mumbai Bollywood star couple Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child, a healthy girl, into the world on Sunday. This morning Alia was seen arriving at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaum, Mumbai with husband Ranbir. During this, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan and Alia’s mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor also reached the hospital before having a child. Significantly, Alia and Ranbir tied the knot on April 14 in an intimate ceremony and recently, Alia had a baby shower with friends and family members.

‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ created Alia’s reputation as a talented actress and ‘Brahmastra’ revived Ranbir’s career. Alia has also grabbed headlines due to her Hollywood debut with the Gal Gadot-starrer Heart of Stone, to be released in 2023. In June, Alia surprised the world by announcing her pregnancy with a picture of Ranbir on her Instagram handle. She has also launched a line of maternity wear named Edmama. (IANS)
