Actor Vijay Deverakonda recently attended the SIIMA Awards and got emotional after his Bollywood debut film Liger flopped. After the disappointing response from the audience, Vijay has been rarely seen in public places and has mostly kept his distance from social media except on a few occasions. In the show, Vijay Deverakonda told that the film’s flop had affected him badly and the actor got teary-eyed stating this. Liger was one of the big films of the year and released on 25 August 2022. But the film received negative response from both the critics and the audience. The film did very little at the box office as well.

Vijay shared, “We all have good days. We don’t all have good days. We all have days. But how we feel, we wake up… and today I really probably I didn’t want to come here to receive this award, but I have come here and while talking to you, I promise you that I will work for all of you and you will be entertained. And great cinema will be made.” The emotional actor promised his fans that he would live up to their expectations.
