Tomorrow will be Govardhan Puja, know the auspicious time and importance of Annakoot

Govardhan Puja 2022: The festival of Govardhan is celebrated every year on Pratipada Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Kartik month. Govardhan Puja is performed every time on the second day of Diwali, but this year it is not happening. This year Govardhan Puja Diwali has been pushed forward by a day due to the arrival of solar eclipse on the second day. That is, this time the festival of Govardhan will be celebrated tomorrow, 26 October i.e. on Wednesday.

Annakoot is offered to God
Govardhan Puja 2022: Lord Krishna and Govardhan Parvat are worshiped on the day of Govardhan. People make Govardhan Parvat out of cow dung with their own hands and offer prayers which shows their faith in nature. In the temples of India, on the holy festival of Govardhan, Annakoot is offered to the Lord in the temples. Hence it is also known as ‘Annakoot’. Annakoot includes many types of grains and many types of dishes.

Govardhan Puja 2022 Tithi: This year Kartik Shukla Pratipada Tithi will start from 04:18 PM on 25th October and will continue till 02:42 PM on 26th October.

Auspicious time for govardhan puja
Govardhan Puja 2022 Shubh Muhurt : On October 26, the auspicious time for Govardhan Puja will be from 06.29 in the morning to 08.43 in the morning. Along with this, Preeti Yoga is also formed on the day of Govardhan Puja. Which will last from morning till 10.09 am.
