There will be a change in the BJP organization in Bihar

In Bihar, preparations are being made for a change in the BJP organization amidst speculation that all is not well between BJP and JDU, both the parties of the ruling NDA and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar leaving Bihar politics and going to Delhi. The present organization of the party is not working properly. The NDA’s performance was very poor in the recently held elections to the 24 Legislative Council seats in the state. BJP lost many of its won seats, due to factionalism amongst themselves. After that, the BJP lost badly in the by-election on Bochahan seat as well. Since then the demand for change in the state organization has intensified.

According to informed sources, BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal can be replaced. It is being told that BJP will make an upper caste state president. The bottom line of the review after the defeat of the Legislative Council and Bochahan is that the party has become too backward focused, which has angered the core voters, the upper castes. Keep in mind that the BJP State President and both the Deputy Chief Ministers come from backward castes. Nityanand Rai is sitting in the most important ministry at the center, he also belongs to the backward caste and the in-charge is also from the backward caste. That is why it is being said that now a leader of a forward caste will be made the state president. According to sources in the BJP, a change may happen soon.
