The health of many people living in Mother Dairy Colony deteriorated due to the leakage of chlorine gas from the water filter plant of the Municipal Corporation located at Idgah in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. According to the information received, due to the sudden leakage of chlorine gas on Wednesday night, people had difficulty in breathing and also felt burning in the eyes. Due to this, the health of more than 10 people deteriorated and they had to be taken to the hospital. The situation of stampede was also seen among the families living there and they came out of their homes. It has been told that due to the leakage of chlorine gas, more than 50 families were moved from their homes to another place, but many people returned to their homes on Thursday morning when the effect of the gas subsided.

It has been told that this chlorine gas leaked from the municipal water filter plant located at Idgah Hills and in-charge of Shahjahanabad Saurabh Pandey also came in its grip. Pandey and other policemen were also admitted to the hospital, the situation is normal at present. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang reached the spot as soon as he got information about the leakage of chlorine gas and took stock of the situation. Former Chief Minister and State President of Congress Kamal Nath has said by tweeting that due to the leakage of chlorine gas in Mother Dairy Colony of Bhopal, people got burning in the eyes and shortness of breath, some There have been reports of people being hospitalized.
