The second match of Pro Kabaddi League Season 8 ended in a tie, both teams scored 40-40 points.

Pro Kabaddi League 2021-22: On Wednesday, the second match of the Pro Kabaddi League played at the Sheraton Grand in Bangalore was tied with a score of 40-40. There was a fierce competition between the two teams from the very beginning. In the second half, Thalaivas had taken a lead of 9 points but Siddharth Desai’s super raid made Telugu comeback and the match was tied in the last. In this match, captain Siddharth Desai got 11 raid points for Telugu Titans, while Manjeet made 12 successful raids for Thalaivas. In this match, Sandeep Kandola also achieved the first high-5 of the season for Telugu.

Tamil Thalaivas captain won the toss and Prapanjan decided to raid first. Manjeet did the first raid from Telugu Titans and he opened the team’s account with this raid. There was a fierce competition between the two teams. Raiders were getting raids continuously, so in defense also both the teams were looking equal. Before the end of the first half, Telugu Titans were leading but after 20 minutes of play, Tamil Thalaivas took a 23-21 lead. In the first half, Siddharth Desai had scored 6 points for Titans, while Manjeet scored 8 points for Thalaivas and took the team forward.

In the second half, Manjeet continued to increase the team’s score by dismissing Surender in the first raid. In this half, even though both the teams were running equally in terms of raiding but there was no answer from Thalaivas in tackle and defence. Apart from this, Telugu Titans fell further after getting all out twice. When the last five minutes were left in the match, Thalaivas were ahead by 9 points. Sandeep Kandola tried to get Telugu back with High-5, with captain Siddharth and Rajnish supporting them in the raid. Desai brought the team almost on par with Super Raid and in the very next raid, Tamil Thalaivas were all out. In the last raid of the match, Ankit Beniwal went to raid for Thalaivas, but due to his unsuccessful raid, the match was tied.

In this way an exciting match ended in a draw. Captain Siddharth Desai scored 11 raid points for Telugu Titans in the match, while Manjeet made 12 successful raids for Thalaivas. In this match, Sandeep Kandola also achieved the first high-5 of the season for Telugu.
