New Delhi | IND vs SL Series: The Indian cricket team has been announced today for the Test and T20 series between India and Sri Lanka. Many veteran players have been dropped in this team and many new players have been given a chance. Rohit Sharma has been made the captain of the Test team, while Jasprit Bumrah has been entrusted with the responsibility of being the vice-captain in the Test series.

IND vs SL Series: In view of the disappointing performance in the previous series, senior players Ajinkya Rahane and Cheteshwar Pujara have been dropped from the Test team against Sri Lanka. Whereas, Uttar Pradesh’s young player Saurabh Kumar has been included in the team. Apart from this, Kuldeep Yadav has also returned to the Test team. KL Rahul has also been ruled out of the Test series against Sri Lanka after being injured in the first ODI against West Indies.

Let us tell you that the T20 series against Sri Lanka will start from February 24. After that a two-match Test series will be played from March 4.
