Jaipur. In Rajasthan, more than three lakh people have applied for addition and amendment of names in the voter list. Officials say that this campaign to add names to the voter list will continue till December 8.
Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Gupta said that the campaign to add names to the voter list in the state, Voter List Special Summary Revision Program (SSR-2023) has started from November 9, which will continue till December 8 this year. Will work. The final publication of voter lists will be done on January 5, 2023.
He told that so far 3 lakh 10 thousand applications have been received for inclusion of names in the voter list. He informed that applications for registration of one lakh 29,696 new voters have been received under Form 6. Also, applications have been received to link voter card with Aadhaar of 88830 voters under Form 6B.
According to a statement, similarly under Form 7, a total of 46315 applications have been received for proposals to add names to the existing electoral rolls or for objections and deletion of names in recorded entries. (Language)
