Makers of ‘KGF’ and ‘Kantara’ announce next film ‘Dhoom’

After the stupendous success of their new release Hyakantara, ‘KGF’, the makers of Hombale Films are gearing up to produce their next project ‘Dhoom’ starring Fahadh Faasil and National Award winner Aparna Balamurali. Production house Hombale Films took to its Twitter handle to share the Muhurta shots of their new film.
Speaking at Muhurta, Producer Vijay Kiragandoor said, “We are delighted with our association with Fahadh and Aparna. Dhoom has a unique story that is different from all genres of traditional cinema.”

Director Pawan Kumar has worked on the script for several months and we believe it is going to create a frenzy among the fans. We are very excited for this upcoming film with a solid cast and crew from our side. ‘Dhoom’ is to be directed by Pawan Kumar, who is known for his unique storytelling and acclaimed films like ‘Lucia’ and ‘U Turn’.

Thriller ‘Dhoom’ will be released in 4 languages including Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil and Telugu. This is Hombale Films’ second announcement in the Malayalam film industry after the grand announcement of the film ‘Tyson’.
Apart from Fahadh and Aparna, the film stars Achyut Kumar, Joy Mathew, Dev Mohan, Anu Mohan, Nandu in lead roles. Music for the film will be given by Poornachandra Tejasvi and cinematography will be done by renowned cinematographer Preeta Jayaram. National Award winners Anees Nadodi and Poornima Ramaswamy have also been roped in for interesting projects.
Last month, the filmmakers released an in-depth poster revealing the title of the film. Its caption was, “Whatever you sow, you will reap.”

According to the makers, the film promises to be a fast-paced thriller with an intense plot. The production house has already produced 2 cult classics this year with ‘KGF Chapter 2’ and their latest release ‘Kantara’.
His other mega project ‘Saalar’ starring Prabhas is scheduled to release in September 2023.
