Invoices of one lakh drivers driving two wheelers without helmet in MP

Bhopal. In Madhya Pradesh (Madhya Pradesh), in view of the safety of two-wheeler drivers, a campaign is being run to use helmets. Action was also taken against the drivers who did not use helmets. Challans of more than one lakh drivers were issued in the state. Additional Director General of Police (ADG) PTRI G. Janardan (PTRI G. Janardan) informed that holistic efforts are being made to ensure compulsory use of helmets for the safety of two wheeler riders. He has said that along with the awareness campaign for the use of helmets, action is also being taken under the Vehicle Act. Action has been taken against more than one lakh two wheeler riders. ADG Janardhan has informed that a special awareness campaign is being run jointly by the Police and the Transport Department to prevent the loss of life due to road accidents caused by the riders of vehicles without helmets.

Necessary instructions for this have also been issued to all government offices and educational institutions. Automobile shops, hotels, dhabas, restaurants, malls, licensed liquor shops, parking operators, petrol pumps are being asked not to provide service to motorists without wearing helmets. Similarly, vehicle sales centers have been prohibited from selling helmets along with vehicles. He said that Police and Transport Department together with awareness campaign from October 6 to 20, 1 lakh 8 thousand 139 challans under Motor Vehicle Act against two wheeler riders who do not wear helmets. were done. In Jabalpur, maximum 13 thousand 105, 7106 in Sagar, 5966 in Bhopal, 4830 in Indore, 4087 in Singrauli, 3517 in Shivpuri were challaned in other districts.
