The factory was sealed by SEBI in 2014 over a share dispute. He said that when the incident came to light, the role of the police was found suspicious, which was investigated by the Superintendent of Police Anurag Vats. He said that in the investigation conducted by the police officer, the involvement of six policemen including two policemen in collusion with thieves and also in selling stolen goods came to light.

Narayan told that on the basis of the investigation, the Superintendent of Police, Somaiya Nagar outpost in-charge of city Kotwali Manoj Kumar Rana, Jahangirabad police station inspector Dharmendra Kumar Shukla, city police constable Rahul Singh, UP-112 constable Abhay Yadav, Jahangirabad police station constable. Police Officer Naveen Singh said that the Superintendent of Police has sent a report to the District Commandant for action against Basant Yadav, a Home Guard jawan involved in this along with the policemen. The officer said that on the basis of the investigation, departmental action has been initiated against the accused policemen by suspending them.
