Union Minister of State Rameshwar Teli said that due to the tax levied by the Center and the state, the price of oil reaches around Rs 100. But if you drink Himalayan water, then a bottle of it costs Rs 100.

People are facing problems due to the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country. At the same time, a statement of Union Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas and Labor and Employment, Rameshwar Teli on rising prices has made a lot of headlines. Talking to the media on Saturday (October 9), he said that due to the taxes being imposed on petroleum products, free vaccines are being provided to the people by the government.

Minister Rameshwar Teli said that the price of petrol is not very high. But the tax on it makes its price higher. It is also a means of mobilizing resources. Vaccine is being given free to everyone in the country, where will its money come from, to compensate for the same, oil prices have been increased.

Apart from this, the Minister compared the price of oil with that of a bottle of water and said that the price of mineral water is much higher than the price of oil. The price of petrol is Rs 40, so the state governments levy their own tax on it. The Petroleum Ministry charges Rs.30. Due to which its price reaches near 100 rupees. But if you drink Himalayan water, then a bottle of it costs Rs 100.

If we look at the oil prices in the country, on Monday, the price of diesel in Kerala and Karnataka exceeded Rs 100 per liter. Oil prices increased for the seventh day in a row. According to the notification, on Monday, the price of petrol was increased by 30 paise per liter and that of diesel by 35 paise per liter. At the same time, the price of petrol has reached an all-time high of Rs 104.44 per liter in Delhi and Rs 110.41 per liter in Mumbai.

By the way, this is not the first time that a politician has made a strange statement on oil prices. Earlier, BJP leader and Bihar government’s tourism minister Narayan Prasad had said that “the general public of the country does not travel by car but by bus. The general public is not worried about inflation. The leaders are troubled by the rising inflation in the country. The general public gets used to rising inflation.
