Thailand firing: 30 killed including 23 children
Bangkok. More than 30 people were killed in a shooting at a ‘Child Care Center’ in Thailand on Thursday.
Thailand’s Police Major General Achayon Krathong said a gunman opened fire at a children’s center in the city of Nong Bua Lamphu in the afternoon. He said that around 30 people were killed in the firing but details are not yet available in this regard. The attacker committed suicide after firing bullets.
A spokesman for the regional public relations office said 26 people had been confirmed dead, including 23 children, two teachers and a police officer.
