Three workers killed by train in Delhi

New Delhi. Three laborers died after being hit by a train in Badli area of ​​North West Delhi. This information was given by the police on Tuesday.

The accident took place on Monday near Kilometer pole number 13/25 between Badli yard and Holambi, police said. Police said that information about this was received around 5.35 pm.

The workers have been identified as Mohd Hafiz, Mohd and Rijul, police said. Police said that the trio used to work in Badli industrial area and lived in Rana Park in Siraspur village. According to the police, the trio had gone to a nearby park with Mohammad Ehsan and were on their way back home. According to the police, Ehsan also worked with them and lived with them.

An official said that the four persons got stuck between two trains coming from opposite directions on two railway lines. He said the trio tried to cross the tracks, but they were hit by the train, while Ehsan survived sitting between two rail lines. Police said the bodies have been sent to the Sabzi Mandi morgue and their families have been informed. The police do not suspect any wrongdoing. (Language)
