Registration through CUET started in JNU

New Delhi. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has started the registration process for admission to its undergraduate programs through the University Common Entrance Test (CUET). Candidates can apply for undergraduate programs in the university through the official website of JNUEE.

A JNU official said on Wednesday that by visiting the website, the candidate has to click on the link to apply for BA programmes. This will open a portal where candidates can log in with their CUET-UG application number and date of birth as password.
The registration fee for General Category, Economically Weaker Section and Other Backward Class (OBC) candidates is Rs 250 and for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disabilities, the registration fee is Rs 100.

Foreign nationals will have to pay Rs 2,392 for registration. For registration, candidates need to fill an online application with personal details and qualification details. Then the scanned photo and signature have to be uploaded and make the payment. The official said that a candidate must furnish all the details while filling the online application form and is also required to generate a password and answer a chosen security question.

JNU this year the university has opted for CUET for admission to undergraduate programmes. Admission to BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Program in Ayurveda Biology and Certificate of Proficiency Programs of Jawaharlal Nehru University for the academic year 2022-23 is being done through CUET (UG) 2022.
