Only SP can defeat BJP

Lucknow. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has said that the results of SP’s alliance with socialists and Bahujanists may not have been as expected, but it has shown that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Only SP can defeat it.

Akhilesh Yadav, in his address after inaugurating the SP’s provincial convention on Wednesday, said that the socialists had tried in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, had taken a historic decision. Crores of people of the country were dreaming that the forces of Bahujan should stand together on one platform, which was once seen by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia and Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. In the year 2019, the socialists tried to realize that dream by giving up. Socialists who wanted big wins but the kind of people who are in power misused everything. We didn’t succeed.

Yadav said that after that again the socialists fought the 2022 assembly elections together. We formed an alliance on one platform by taking all the parties which were fighting to remove the BJP at that time. We could not win, but I can say that the experiment of 2019 and 2022 and the way our leaders and workers worked, even if we did not get the expected success, but we socialists have come to know that the BJP will compete if any. and if anyone can defeat him then it is Samajwadi Party.

Earlier, in the convention, Naresh Uttam Patel was once again elected as the state president of the SP. Yadav strongly criticized the ruling BJP, calling it a failure on every front. (Language)
