Aap’s new promotion of Operation Lots

After Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party has started campaigning for Operation Lotus in Punjab. Senior party leader and Punjab government minister Harpal Singh Cheema has alleged that the BJP has approached seven to 10 Aam Aadmi Party MLAs and asked them to leave the party. They have not kept quiet by making such allegations. He has told about that plan of BJP in great detail, which probably no BJP leader will know about. The plan, which even Narendra Modi and Amit Shah may not have known about, was disclosed by a senior BJP leader and minister.

Cheema has said that BJP wants to break 35 MLAs of Aam Aadmi Party. Apart from this, he is eyeing 20 more MLAs. That is, BJP wants to bring 55 MLAs with them by breaking them. Cheema has also said that BJP has kept a fund of Rs 1,375 crore for this. Remember how it was said in Delhi that BJP has kept eight hundred crore rupees at the rate of 20-20 crore rupees to break 40 AAP MLAs. The rates of MLAs have been increased in Punjab. Cheema has said on the basis of Rs 25 crore per MLA that Rs 1,375 crore is kept.

The Aam Aadmi Party has 92 MLAs of its own in the 117-member Punjab Assembly. Think, how can 35 of these MLAs break? Under the anti-defection law, at least two-thirds of the MLAs should be together to break the party. This means 62 MLAs will be needed to break AAP in Punjab. If there are less MLAs than this, then the party will not break and the membership of the MLAs will go away. He will have to contest by-elections. The BJP could win only two seats in the last election. Will the MLA of any party want to contest the by-election on that party’s ticket? According to Cheema, the BJP is eyeing 20 more MLAs. This will be possible only when all the 18 Congress MLAs go with him. Is it possible?

Harpal Singh Cheema and other leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party have also made another mistake in the calculation. He has said that BJP is preparing to buy 55 MLAs from different parties. The question is, what will happen to the 55 MLAs? The majority mark in the state is 59. If we assume that 55 plus two BJP MLAs, even then the figure is 57. Overall, this is a complete lie, but the surprising thing is that the leaders of the party running the government with three-fourth majority are doing such propaganda to fool the public. They know that people don’t go into numbers and BJP has a track record in front of them so they will believe this nonsense.
