SL vs WI: Sri Lankan batsman Dhananjaya de Silva lost his wicket in a strange manner on the second day of the first Test match being played in Galle between Sri Lanka and West Indies. He was defending a ball on the back foot but the ball hit the bat and went into the air just above the stump. He immediately tried to hit the ball twice with the bat so that the ball did not fall on the stump. He managed to stop the ball from falling on the stump, but the bat sat on the stump.

In the 95th over of Sri Lanka’s innings, de Silva was hit wicket by Shannon Gabriel. Dhananjay de Silva (61) was seen in good rhythm.
