Sumit Antil won the gold medal in the javelin throw at the Tokyo Paralympics, created a new world record

Sumit Antil of India, performing brilliantly in the Tokyo Paralympics, has won the gold medal in the javelin throw class F-64 category. Sumit made a world record in the final with a throw of 68.55 meters and won the gold medal. This is the second gold medal for India so far. Earlier, female shooter Avani Lakhera won the gold medal on Monday morning. India has so far won some 7 medals, including 2 gold medals.
