According to South Korea’s Yonhap news agency, the nationalities of the foreigners killed in South Korea include those from Iran, Uzbekistan, China and Norway. The death toll may rise further as the condition of 19 of the injured is critical.

Local media quoted Yoon as saying that “the top priority is to transport and rescue patients and provide immediate medical care to those affected.” Two days of national mourning have been declared in South Korea following the Seoul Halloween party accident.
