Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, known by the name Sidhu Moosewala, was an Indian singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor associated with the Punjabi Music Industry and Punjabi Cinema. Sidhu Moosewala began his career with the song “License,” which was written by him and sung by the renowned singer Ninja. He gained recognition with his song “GWagon.”

He received immense love from the audience for his song “So High,” following which he released a series of superhit songs like “Same Beef,” “Levels,” and “Bambiha Bole.” Sidhu released his debut album “PBX1,” which secured the 66th position on the Billboard Canadian Album Chart. Subsequently, he continued to deliver hit single after hit single, with his song “47” being ranked on the UK Singles Chart.

Sidhu Moosewala’s ten songs were identified on the UK Asian Chart, with two of them ranking the highest. His song “Bambhiya Bole” was placed at the 5th position on the global YouTube Music Chart.

Sidhu is a resident of Musa village in Mansa district of Punjab. He was born into a Sikh family to father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur. His father initially served in the army and later joined the police force after getting injured during combat. He pursued his education at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, and graduated in Electrical Engineering in 2016.

Sidhu has also showcased his talents at the DAV College Fest. He developed an interest in hip-hop music from the sixth grade and learned music skills from Harvinder Bittu in Ludhiana. He shares a close bond with his parents and has released songs titled “Dear Mama” and “Bapu” dedicated to them. As of 2019, Sidhu Moosewala was residing in Brampton, Canada.
