Infosys has recently re-appointed Salil Parekh as the Managing Director (MD) and CEO for the next 5 years. Salil Parekh’s new term will run from July 1, 2022 to March 31, 2027.

The current CEO of Infosys, Salil Parekh, has over 30 years of experience in the IT industry. Salil Parekh took over as the Managing Director and CEO of Infosys in January 2018. Before joining Infosys, Salil Parekh was associated with Capgemini for 25 years. Infosys released its fourth quarter results last month. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 5,686 crore in the fourth quarter, up 12 per cent over the same period last year. However, in the fourth quarter, the company’s profit fell by 2 percent compared to the third quarter.
