Root of population imbalance is conversion and infiltration: RSS

Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said on Wednesday that population imbalance was one of the major topics discussed in the meeting of the All India Executive Board of the Sangh. In the press conference at the end of the meeting, he said that there was an imbalance in the population due to the conspiracy to do some kind of conversion in the country. Addressing reporters at a school campus at Yamunapar Gauhaniya, 25 km from the district headquarters, Hosbale said another reason for population imbalance was infiltration. Districts like Purnia, Katihar and other states of North Bihar via Bangladesh have also witnessed population imbalance.

Hosbale said laws have been made to stop conversions, but these laws need to be strictly enforced. Although the Sangh is making efforts for public awareness in this regard, due to which good results have come to the fore regarding homecoming. He said that the number of Hindus is decreasing due to conversion. Conspiracies for conversion are going on in many parts of the country. Infiltration is also taking place in some border areas.

Sarkaryavah said that due to population imbalance, there has been a situation of partition in many countries. The partition of India has also happened due to population imbalance. On the issue of Scheduled Caste people getting the benefit of reservation after they convert, Hosbale said, “The Sangh has already said that those who convert should not get the facility of reservation.
He said that a committee has been constituted by the government under the chairmanship of former Chief Justice of India Justice Balkrishna to decide the issue. The committee will study the matter and submit its report.

Hosbale said that in the four-day meeting, discussions were held to increase the participation of women in various activities in the Hindu society. Women are coming forward in every sphere of the society and their participation in decision making in social work should also increase. The country will progress only when women’s participation is there in all fields.

Sangh’s Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosabale said that the population explosion in the country is worrying. Therefore, considering this subject in totality and inclusively, a population policy should be made applicable to all. He said that the resources in the country are limited. There is a need for public awareness and management in the country on this. He said that by the end of the year 2024, a plan has been made to reach the branch in all the divisions of India. He said that many provinces have completed 99 per cent of the work. Branches have been opened up to the Mandal level in Chittor, Braj and Kerala provinces. Earlier there were branches of the Sangh at 58,000 places in the country. At present the branch is being established in more than 61,1000 places. Weekly Milan has also increased by 4000.

Sarkaryavah said that in the year 2025, 100 years of the establishment of the Sangh are being completed. For this purpose, three thousand youths have come out across the country as centenary vistakars to give time for Sangh work. There are still a thousand centuries more to come out. Sarkaryavah informed that the All India Executive, Sanghchalaks, Karyavah and Pracharaks of all eleven regions and 45 provinces are participating in the meeting. He said that out of 379 office bearers, 372 were present in the meeting. (talk)
