New Delhi | PM Modi Tribute Shinzo Abe: Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi paid emotional tribute to his dear friend and former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe. Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was cremated with state honors at the Nippon Budokan Community Center in Tokyo. During this, more than 700 leaders from around the world including PM Modi were present. Let us tell you that on July 8, Shinzo Abe was shot dead while addressing a public meeting during the election campaign.

India had also declared national mourning

Shinzo Abe was not only a great figure in Japan, but a global statesman with a huge personality. He was a great supporter of Indo-Japanese friendship. Not only this, India had also declared a day of national mourning on 9 July while mourning Shinzo.

Modi meets PM Fumio Kishida
Let us tell you that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is on a visit to Japan to attend the funeral of Shinzo. During this, PM Modi and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida met today. Giving information about this, PM Modi tweeted and wrote that a meaningful meeting has been held with Prime Minister Kishida. We discussed various bilateral topics. Apart from this, PM Modi told the Japanese Prime Minister that we are meeting today in this hour of sorrow. Modi said the whole of India is remembering Abe. Simultaneously, the two leaders discussed deepening ties between the two countries and on many regional and global issues.
