PM Modi leaves for UAE, will participate in G-7 summit

New Delhi | UAE G-7 PM Modi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi has now left for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) after attending the G-7 summit held in Munich, Germany. Here he will meet President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Before leaving for Germany, Mr Modi said in a tweet that during the G-7 summit in Schloss Elmau, he interacted with many world leaders and also participated in the Indian Community Culture Program. PM Modi said that during the G-7 he was able to discuss many issues for the betterment of the world.

Thanks to Chancellor Olaf Scholz

UAE G-7 PM Modi : In his tweet, the Prime Minister thanked the people of Germany and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz for the wonderful host. Along with this, he said that he is confident that the friendship between the two countries will touch new heights. On the sidelines of the G-7, the Prime Minister with his Italian counterpart Mario Draghi, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Japan’s Prime Minister Fumio Kishida, WTO Director-General Ngoji Okonjo-Iwela, World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and Senegal met with several other leaders including President Mackie Sall.

First meeting with the new ruler of Abu Dhabi…

UAE G-7 PM Modi : During his brief visit to the UAE, the Prime Minister will express his personal condolences on the passing away of its former President and Abu Dhabi Ruler Sheikh Khalifa. Mr Modi will also congratulate Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as the new President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. This will be the first meeting between the two leaders since the election of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the new ruler of Abu Dhabi. After this, Prime Minister Modi will leave from there for Delhi in the evening.
