25 lakhs help to Ankita’s family

Dehradun. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh to the family members of Ankita Bhandari murder case. Ankita, 19, who worked in a resort in Pauri, was allegedly murdered by her employer, the operator of the resort.

The Chief Minister said that instructions have been given to the officials in this regard. He said that the state government was with Ankita’s family and would extend all help to them. Dhami said the matter was being probed by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) and the probe would be completed at the earliest in an impartial manner. He said that by collecting all the facts related to the case, it would be ensured that the culprits get the strictest punishment by preparing the report in a solid manner.

The Chief Minister said that such punishment would be given to the criminals which would become an example for the future also. A request has been made to the court for hearing in the fast track court so that the victim’s family can get speedy justice.

Ankita, working at Vanantra Resort in Ganga Bhogpur in Yamkeshwar of Pauri district, was allegedly pushed to death by resort operator Pulkit Arya along with two of his employees, manager Saurabh Bhaskar and assistant manager Ankit Gupta, in the Chila canal near Rishikesh. was given.

Pulkit is the son of former Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vinod Arya from Haridwar, who has been a minister of state in the past. Arya was expelled from the party by the BJP after the incident came to light. (Language)
