No city becomes smart city by false declaration and television: Kamal Nath

Jabalpur. Senior Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath attacked Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today, saying that no city can be seen from untrue announcements and television. Smart city does not become a smart city, vision is needed for smart city not television.

Kamal Nath said this while addressing a press conference here. Before the press conference, Kamal Nath worshiped mother Narmada in Gwarighat and held a roadshow in support of Congress mayor and councilor candidates in the municipal elections. The former Chief Minister said in a press conference that while preparing the master plan of Jabalpur, it would have to be kept in mind that what would be the population of the city in 2032 and what would be the needs of the city. In technical terms, it is called the carrying capacity of the city. But all these things are not understood by the people sitting in the government and they do not do any work other than speaking untruths on untruths.

Kamal Nath said that Madhya Pradesh (MP) is a state surrounded by five states. It has its own specialties and needs. But there is so much corruption in the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh that no industrialist wants to set up industries in Madhya Pradesh. If an industry is established in a city, then other businesses are also born with it and this creates employment.
