MP Sanjay Raut in the grip of ED, did not get relief from the court, now the wait extended till October 10

Mumbai | Sanjay Raut Money Laundering Case : Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut is yet to get relief in Patra Chawl scam case of Mumbai. Sanjay Raut is in ED custody. Raut’s bail application in Patra Chawl scam case was heard in the special PMLA court in Mumbai on Tuesday. During this, Sanjay Raut was also present in the court during the hearing. The court has adjourned the bail hearing till October 10.

Sanjay Raut Money Laundering Case : ED has tightened the noose on Sanjay Raut in this case. The ED has alleged that MP Raut is the main mastermind in this case. During the hearing, Raut’s counsel concluded his arguments on bail, while the ED would argue on the next date. The court has given October 10 for hearing on the bail application of Sanjay Raut.

Sanjay Raut Money Laundering Case : Significantly, the ED has registered a money laundering case against Sanjay Raut for alleged irregularities in the redevelopment of Patra Chawl in Mumbai and transactions involving his wife and other associates. The ED had alleged that Sanjay Raut got one crore 6 lakh rupees through Praveen Raut in the scam. In such a situation, now after fixing the time for the next hearing of the court, now Sanjay Raut’s Dussehra will be celebrated in the jail itself, because, this time Dussehra will be celebrated on 5th September.
