5G service will be launched from the hands of PM Modi on October 1

New Delhi | PM Modi 5G Launching: The people of the country have been waiting for 5G for a long time. In this regard, it has now been announced that 5G will be launched in India from October 1. The latest information has been received that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the country’s fifth generation telecom service 5G on October 1. Mr. Modi is going to launch this service at the inauguration of the India Mobile Congress (IMC) which will run from October 1 to October 4 at Pragati Maidan in the capital. Although no official information has been given in this regard, but sources in the Ministry of Telecom say that the Prime Minister can launch 5G internet service in the country on that day.

PM Modi 5G Launching: Minister of Communications, Electronics and Information Technology and Railways Ashwini Vaishnav will also be present at the inauguration of IMC. It is organized jointly by the Department of Telecommunications and COAI, the apex organization of companies providing telecom services. This year is the sixth edition of IMC. Let us tell you that in the 5G spectrum auction held on August, companies had bought spectrum worth more than Rs 1.50 lakh crore. The companies had bought 51236 MHz spectrum for Rs 150173 crore. Four companies in particular participated in this and all four have bought 51236 MHz spectrum for a total of Rs 150173 crore.

PM Modi 5G Launching: Spectrum buyers include Adani Data Network, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio and Vodafone Idea Cellular. Reliance Jio has taken 24740 MHz spectrum for the maximum amount of Rs 88078 crore. Bharti Airtel has taken 19867 MHz spectrum for Rs 48088 crore, Vodafone Idea Cellular has taken 6228 MHz spectrum for Rs 18799 crore and Adani Data Network has taken 400 MHz spectrum for Rs 212 crore.
