Mamta’s mercy on Hemant

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee may have kept distance with the Congress, but she has complete goodwill towards other opposition parties, allies of the Congress. That’s when he and his police are helping Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren all the way. West Bengal police arrested three Congress MLAs supporting the Jharkhand government with huge cash. It is being said that the MLAs got money to destabilize the government. The Bengal Police clearly stated that it had received the information, based on which it stopped the vehicles and investigated. The police did not tell from where the information was received, but it is being told that the CID of Jharkhand had given the information, on which the Bengal Police took action. The Bengal Police not only caught the Congress leaders with money, but also arrested them and took 10 days remand from the court.

While all the three Congress MLAs were in police custody, the Bengal Police did another big job. Police arrested Rajeev Kumar, a lawyer from Jharkhand. Rajiv Kumar is known as ‘PIL Man’ in Jharkhand. He was silent during the BJP’s five-year state government, but before and after that, he made a lot of PILs against the leaders of Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. He is a lawyer in two PILs filed against Chief Minister Hemant Soren. They are lobbying Shivshankar Sharma, who did the PIL. Sharma has accused Hemant Soren of allotting mines in his name as Chief Minister and setting up fake companies. However, the Bengal Police has arrested Rajiv Kumar in a case of alleged fraud of Rs 50 lakh.
