There is not only ideological similarity in the politics of Arvind Kejriwal and BJP, but Kejriwal is doing politics in exactly the same way as Narendra Modi does. The entire politics of BJP is focused on the face of Narendra Modi for the last eight-nine years. They are from number one to ten and only then comes the number of a leader. Similarly, in the Aam Aadmi Party, there is only Kejriwal from number one to ten. Then someone else’s number comes. Aam Aadmi Party is Kejriwal’s party, the government of both Delhi and Punjab is Kejriwal’s government and all the MLAs and MPs of the party are called MPs and MLAs of Kejriwal. Kejriwal’s politics in this matter is one step ahead of Narendra Modi. Recently, a by-election was held in Delhi’s Rajendra Nagar seat, in which AAP had fielded Durgesh Pathak. Barring a few exceptions throughout the campaign, posters and hoardings everywhere had only the photograph of the candidate and his name was not written. There was an appeal to the people to vote on Kejriwal and the broomstick.
Obviously the whole party is running on the charisma of one person. Aam Aadmi Party has established the brand of Kejriwal by campaigning for thousands of crores of rupees. If the Delhi government builds a school, it is called Kejriwal’s school or if it builds a hospital, it is called Kejriwal’s hospital. In the same way, whatever the central government does, it is called Narendra Modi’s work. Even many BJP leaders called the Indian Army the army of Narendra Modi. Similarly, Kejriwal is also doing everything in his name.
In fact, both Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal have understood the Hindu mood. All this happening is the effect of 12 hundred years of slavery of Hindus. Hindu always dreams of some emperor or dictator. He feels that both his future and the country are safe in the hands of some Chakravarti king. He does not like the Panchayat leaders. Narendra Modi may call India the mother of democracy, but the reality is that the basic principles of democracy have not been adopted in the slightest in India. There is no such thing as internal democracy within a party. Before independence, the country considered Mahatma Gandhi to be the messiah, and after independence, Nehru became the messiah. If Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were also messiahs, then people saw the messiah in VP Singh too. Similarly, Narendra Modi is the messiah and Kejriwal is also following the same path.
Like Modi, Kejriwal is also raising Govardhan alone. He has not kept any department of Delhi government with him. They are not accountable for anything. They don’t sign files but do politics on every issue. If the water of Yamuna is not clean, then Kejriwal inspects it, then he also goes to see the mountain of garbage. Be it the foundation stone laying or inauguration of the school-hospital, all Kejriwal does. Kejriwal also does worship, aarti and recitation of Hanuman Chalisa. That is, everything revolves around Kejriwal. That’s when the faces of Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal realized that what is the difference between Bade Miyan and Chhote Miyan!
