KBC: The real warriors of the country will be seen on the set at the beginning of the next season, Major DP Singh came back after defeating death

Amitabh Bachchan, who is considered to be a megastar in the Bollywood and film world, is soon going to make a comeback on television with the new season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’. The 14th season of the show will be aired on Sony TV from 7 August. Kaun Banega Crorepati aka KBC has a huge fan following and people are eagerly waiting for the new season. On August 7, the festival of independence or pride will be celebrated on the platform of KBC. On this special occasion, Aamir Khan, Mary Kom and Major DP Singh will be seen sharing the story of their struggle.
On 26 July 1999, the Indian Army bravely forced Pakistan to kneel in the Kargil War. The Kargil war lasted for almost two months. In this war we lost many brave soldiers like Captain Vikram Batra, Captain Saurabh Kalia, Captain Manoj Pandey. On the other hand some war heroes are among us today and they have the same vigor as before.
Major (retired) DP Singh is also among these brave heroes, in front of whose bravery the enemy could not stand. It is said that Major DP Singh was in charge of a post on the border in Akhnoor sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Pakistani post was about 80 meters away from their post. Meanwhile, on 15 July, firing started from the enemy side. The Major was holding a front outside his bunker. At that time mortars were fired from Pakistan side. Major DP Singh survived the first mortar, but was seriously injured in the second mortar fired by Pakistan.
The Major, who was injured in the Pakistani attack, was immediately admitted to the Army Hospital in Akhnoor. But the doctor declared him dead. Major DP’s body was in bad condition in this attack. One of his legs was also amputated to save his life. Despite suffering a lot, the Major did not give up and after three days the Major regained consciousness. Everyone was surprised by this miracle. During an interview, Major described the incident as his rebirth of the survival.
The retired Major still has the same enthusiasm as it was before. He says, I decided to stay on one leg and I did it. Not only this, he participated in the marathon for the first time in the country in 2009 with the help of one leg and also created history by completing 21 km half marathon. In the promo of KBC, DP Singh is seen saying that people of all castes and religions gave him blood when he was injured. That is why the blood of the country is flowing in their veins. DP Singh attributes his success to the discipline and training of the Army.
On the stage of KBC, DP Singh further said that even today there are 73 bullets inside my body. Hearing his bravery, Amitabh Bachchan himself applauded.
